Bernstein to speak at Downtown Manchester launch

Sir Howard Bernstein, chief executive of Manchester City Council, is to be guest speaker at the launch of the Manchester branch of the Downtown in Business networking group.

The event will be held at the Hilton Deansgate hotel on March 11.

“We are delighted at the response we have had from the Manchester business community since we set up shop in Portland Tower in January,” said Downton in Business chairman, Frank McKenna. “We have already attracted a massive amount of interest from businesses from all sectors.”

The firm has signed property company Bruntwood, insurance broker CBG and marketing agency MC2 as its headline sponsors.
